Luciano Andreoli’s superb Revtech-engined retro bobber “Project B” took first prize at this year’s Bike Expo International custom show at Padova, Italy. As well as an impressive winner’s trophy, the prize consists of 5.000 Euro towards bike transport and other costs to Sturgis to compete at the World Championship of Custom Bike Building, August 5-8.
Andreoli, of Rovato, near Brescia, impressed the judges with his innovative styling and unique handcrafted parts.
Second prize was taken by Andreas Eriksson of Mojo Chopper Manufacturing, Stockholm, Sweden.
His project, named “Inzane”, is a fine example of traditional Swedish chopper styling with contemporary engineering solutions. Andreas’ prize is 1.500 Euro towards his participation in the European Championship of Custom Bike Building, being held at the Custom Chrome Europe Dealer Show in Mainz, Germany, on March 24-25.
Big Twin Motors of Naples were awarded third prize, again of 1500 Euro towards participation at the European Championship, for their “Hi-Tech Radical” lowrider.
